Evelyn Hilda Burkitt at Grand Central
Evelyn Hilda Burkitt was the first suffragette to be imprisoned after she threw a stone at Lord Asquith’s car in Birmingham when he came for a meeting of financiers in 1909. This 2018 installation at New Street Station was by Helen Marshall.
Gloucester Cathedral Armistice Centenary Parade, 12 noon
11th November 2018. This horse is given a welcome stretch after the formal parade.
The tree shadow was the initial secondary subject of this shot of a horse galloping by during the 2018 Badminton Horse Trials. As it turned out another photograph was being taken at the same time.
